Local issues regarding alcohol bubble up every now and again. Suwannee County Florida has it’s turn on August 16. Two questions are on the ballot with a note that the voter has to vote on both questions. The second question is based on the first one passing.
First, should beverages with more than 6.243 alcohol by volume be sold in the county?
Second, should there be stores that sell such items in concealed containers for people to drink in another place, in other words, this is not a
restaurant don’t drink that here.
The second question also has a provision that it is passable once the first question is passed.
Question 1 (should the county sell beverages with more than 6.243 alcohol by volume?)
Question 2 (if Q1 passes, should the county have stores that sell those beverages (Package stores)).
