Texas State House District 100 – No Need for an Election

Texas State House District 100 – No Need for an Election

In a sad sign of lack of interest in special elections, only one candidate filed for the special election in the Dallas area Texas House seat. So after the last State Representative stepped down because of a corruption conviction, voters do not even get a choice who their new representative will be. Too bad.

The new representative is Eric Johnson, who was on his way to winning the seat anyway after beating the corrupt Terri Hodge in the regularly scheduled primary for the full term in November.
