Turnout – 56% (approx.)

Turnout – 43% (Yep, this was Coakley’s big problem)

  1. Webster City, Iowa had elections on the 19th also. Though I do not know the party affiliation of the two people who won. If someone else does I would be interested to know.

    Someone named Carrie Olson of the Daily Freeman-Journal wrote, “Doug Getter and Geary Meyer were elected to fill two vacant seats on the Webster City City Council in a special election held Tuesday.
    Getter received 716 votes, including 175 absentee ballots, Meyer received 724, including 178 absentee ballots, and Logan Welch received 293, including 46 absentee ballots.”
